Power of One
Power of One is a five unit national program that challenges members to create a plan of action to improve various aspects of their lives. This program is encouraged by many states as a tool for working with state officers and is open to all members looking for project ideas and personal development opportunities. Lesson plans and activities are available for classroom integration and those who complete the five units are awarded special recognition on the FCCLA website and at the National Leadership Conference.

Program Award Applications
Roll out the red carpet because it’s Awards Season! Program Awards, that is!
Attention FCCLA Members! The time has come again for you and your chapter to be recognized on the National Level and win some great prize money! Your chapter works so hard during the school year to participate in one or even all eight of the National Programs. By filling out the Program Award Applications, you have the chance to be recognized at NLC, win some nice cash, and be featured on the National Website. All Applications are due on March 1st at 11:59 p.m. Happy Awards Season!!!
To apply for a National Program Award please follow the steps below:
1. Log on to the FCCLA affiliation system by going here: https://affiliation.registermychapter.com/fccla#
2. Once logged in, select the “Program Awards” tab
3. Select whichever award section you wish to apply for
4. Select “Apply Now” for either Middle or High School
*Please be sure to select the correct application
5. Fill out all of the required fields* as specified on the application then hit “Submit."
Please note: Once you submit your application you cannot make any changes. Double check all of your answers before submitting.
If you are not finished with the application yet, hit “Save” and you can come back and finish your application at another time.
If you no longer wish to complete the application, hit “Delete.”
6. Be sure to read the Program Awards Application Terms & Conditions before starting your application.

When and where will the winning projects be listed?
The winning projects will be posted on the national website under each program tab on April 15, 2015.
How will I know if my application has been successfully submitted?
You can go back to the Program Awards tab on the affiliation, and if the application was properly submitted, it will change from “APPLY NOW” to “VIEW”.
Where can I find a blank copy of the program award application to print?
You may print off a blank copy of each program award application before you begin completing it by going to the “Programs” tab of the FCCLA website and going to the specific National Program you are applying for. There you will find a preview of the application to print.
