5/∞ Moodboards of Maxine Gabriella Charming: Childhood promises

Nothing, absolutely nothing, could’ve prepared Amaru for the predicament he quite literally ran into that cursed morning. 

It was cursed the moment he had forgotten to set his alarm clock the night before, making him wake up not only too late to revise, but also to even get ready for the school day, given that it started at 8:30AM, and it took him 10 minutes to get his class. He had woken up at 8:16. 

Hurriedly slipping on his clothes and his shoes, the thought of perhaps using his bag to carry his books had slipped past his mind, his thought process only occupied by the words that his teacher had said the day before: There was going to be an exam, and the classroom doors were to be locked to optimise the test conditions, which right off the fucking bat, Amaru had every reason to criticise. What if someone needed the bathroom?

There was too little time to make an effort to roll his eyes, while his quick paced feet made him move faster than average– joining the track team was a good decision he made. His shortness of breath was ignored as of the moment as he ran up the flights of stairs, knees high with every step. He didn’t hear the sound of steps coming down towards him, simply looking ahead with determined eyes– If he kept this pace, he could make it. He could make it! Just one more flight and–

“What the FUCK, MOVE?!”

With a bang, two figures collided into each other, while a flurry of books flew up into the air, only to fall down the array of stairs that Amaru had just sprinted up. The books containing the notes he had to carry into the exam - which might he add was about to start in less than a minute, were included in the books that had fallen.

Maxine slams her head on her desk as she takes in the new information. When she’s finally calmed down, she cannot deny that she feels slightly(?) relieved that Junior hasn’t looked and experienced the horrors pf pornography and that they’re still on the same boat on that specific matter. 

“I...no, he didn’t tell me anything about any of those things.” By now, Maxine is obviously crying as she finally realizes that her most beloved Junior is no longer as innocent as she would like to still think him to be.
