to the people who still care or cared at some point in time: thank you, i love you so much, this was my first bigthingTM.
the dialogue: «H: why do you always morph into your human form when we take a break? Isn’t that less comfortable for you? » « N: I can’t hold you properly or feel your warmth with my tiny fungi body. I like it better this way, plus you carry me anyways right? »
I’m well aware this somewhat aborted at birth comic is like cringy asf and kind of nonsensical but I’m glad i tried anyways, and that friend cheered on me through those 12 weeks for those 12 episodes. Sometimes I feel really, really down and like a dead weight to society, but I like stories more than anything, and they make me feel good and distracted, so being able to write some, and maybe bringing the same distraction to other makes me so, so happy. People are onto smth when they say that you should « just do it, even if it’s bad ». I often look at the comics I’ve drawn (original or fan comics) and draw joy and purpose in the reactions/comments i can read, maybe it’s shallow, but it’s still nice.
