On April 26, someone that speaks Vietnamese, changed my password and stole my Facebook page.  I have been desperately trying to reach someone at FB using their support email.  I have emailed support several times.  I even emailed all the support email address in hope that someone will be able to fix this.  I have had no response.

On the 26th, I tried to access my FB page from my phone and it asked for me to enter my password - which it never does because I am always signed in.  It would not accept my password and then I started seeing things in Vietnamese.  I couldn't understand why I was being asked to reset my password in this language and it texted a code not in English) to my phone.  I was able to change the password and then I couldn't access my page.

It also said that my page was suspended because it looked like it wasn't a real person.  So, I changed my password and then did the appeal.  The whole time, everything was in Vietnamese and even with some translation it was difficult to navigate it, but I managed to send a picture of me.

Evidently the hacker changed my password during my work hours and I did received an email that I could click to say it wasn't me.  By the time saw this email and clicked to say it wasn't me, it was too late.  I don't understand how they could have changed it when the email that was sent just prior had a code to enter.  I didn't enter that code.

My page is gone and replaced with a shell that is in Vietnamese.  All my pictures and friends are gone.  And NO ONE from Facebook support has responded to my emails.  Most of the pictures on my page are of my cats and my profile picture has a Prince (The Artist) Symbol.  It is a picture of a painting a friend had made for me when Prince passed away in 2016.  I do have a frame around the picture of the symbol that says I had the Covid-19 vaccine.

After much frustration and the inability to edit the blank page I got access to because it was in Vietnamese, I decided to create a new page.  I was successful setting up my profile with a different email and made sure I had a two factor sign in to keep it safe.  I was unable to make friend requests, but my husband and one other friend found me.  I then worked on gaining access to it on my phone too, but after it prompted me to connect to my contacts, my new account was suspended - AGAIN.

FB decided that I didn't meet community standards and now I no longer have a FB page.  I have lost it all.  I want my original page back with all my pictures and contacts.

I went to GetHuman and posted my dilemma.  I connected with a Meta hacker on Twitter and for $50, he said he could get my profile back.  The level of phishing and scamming is amazing!  I am not going to pay someone I don’t know to hack FB to retrieve my profile.  FB should make this right, but there is nobody home.
