WORRY paints his face as he frowns at roxanne’s state. he doesn’t want anything bad happening to her ! & the fact that he has confirmed himself that they ARE ABLE to feel pain does not help with calming his nerves. gregory fidgets, biting his lip while he tries to usher her. he knows that she’s able to handle herself, but still ! he’s allowed to be concerned about his friend, is he not ?
“ you’re .. you’re clearly hurt ! do you need a technician ? i-i can take you to parts & service. ” as much as the AREA unnerved him, he’s wiling to push past that if roxanne is hurt. ah, curse his damn self for getting attached to an animatronic. it’s not normal to be so EMOTIONALLY INVESTED in a robot, gregory ! normal or not, he doesn’t care anymore. he’ll help in any way he can.
The kid was starting to panic; this wasn't good. Every gear in her leg was fried, meaning no more running around the facility. The worst part wasn't for her sake but giving the kid an escape whenever things got too hairy. The wolf wasn't in pain; she was physically incapable of feeling her pain - that was the problem. Roxanne couldn't judge the severity of her leg, aside from her overlay blaring red about a malfunction in her right calve structure. Not only does being started in Safe Mode limit her, but this could also outright cripple her. Something she couldn't afford with this child.
❝ Dweeb, relax, I'm ... still functional. ❞
Scratching at the wall behind her as she began to ease herself up, leaning on her injured side. Her plastic teeth gnashed as her eyelids cracked together to try and maintain her balance.
Only letting on a wheeze with a forced laugh, as if to try and ease the kid's anxiety or just to deny her own failing.
❝ Well, we're not going to be able to outrun them. Not while I'm like this. Parts and Services might not be the worst decision you've made. ❞
A small hack escaped her voicebox as she gave a shake to her unresponsive limb. Putting pressure as she attempted to stand on it, only for her heel to give away under her immense weight. Slipping briefly only to stop herself from collapsing.
❝ I'm going to have to be taking a long way around. The staff tunnels might be a safe bet. ❞
❝ First thing, gonna need something to straighten my leg out. If I move around too much, it might worsen the condition. Can you grab that pole? ❞
The top digit of her finger folded back to reveal a small lens underneath as a green light shined towards a retired staff mop. One used by the janitor bots; the only difference from a regular mop was its far sturdier pole to prevent the robot from crushing it.
❝ Check it! A laser pointer to start a mini-light show! Neat, huh? ❞
She joked with a cheery tone, attempting to distract Gregory from the grim situation. Roxanne was designed to be a star after all? What's a star without her own gadgets!
