Just when you don't think it could get any better, well, it does.  I am elated to be back at Triad Stage for the introduction of "Snow Queen".  I don't think I have waited on Winter Season so anxiously or been so grateful to be so daggone bizzy.  

Yeah, I'm feelin' Lucky...Lucky 13!   

We are recording the soundtrack for the show as we speak!  It will be available for purchase within the next few weeks, however tickets to the show are AVAILABLE NOW :)

'Nawlins has treated our Little Lady Tribe mighty fine.  The melting cauldron of culture is abundant.  The synchronistic sway of this sweet, Crescent City has begun singing a new song into the mouth of my soul. The tropical Gulf climate has my bones & my body feelin' righteous & revived.  Magic is such a muse to me.  

To this moment, and this magical city, I will return.  I will return to the mysteria & the music of New Orleans.  

This track was speaking to me whilst wandering the roads...nothing ties to the traditional sounds of the city.  Simply a soundtrack to the scene in my mind and a familiar scene of the streets during the celebration of El Dio de los Muertos!

A really integral part of being of a recording artist is to.. well.. RECORD! It captures a song and story in a medium that we keep permanently embedded in the music history archives.. It’s waxed. Then, of course it’s like this self fulfilling, feeling of completion. A song seed was dropped into my brain, then watered with melodic fiddle streams, and fed with some luscious lyricism. Then I seek the best of the best to come work the field with me in the studio.. The cream of the crop. The talented ones whom can really stir up that Good Earth with me. After that, it is time to lay those tracks and have those seeds grow & mature into full fruition. Maybe the most important part is realizing it is the gift I long and live to give. My very own, one-of-kind gift of song & story. I want to give it to the world.. And I start with you. My fans. My Patron Family Tribe.

That is why tomorrow, I will be in the field, at the gracious creation compound, East 800 Recording Studio. Holding space in the great, south-eastern city of Atlanta, with the cream of the crop. I’m talking, the highly sought after. The Shiny ones. The Magic Makers. Producer and ivory man, Martin Kearns of Down in Deep Recording Studio, has taken this Gypsy Fiddle on. Richie Jones, percussionist extraordinaire, Critter Critenden, the man who speaks through six strings & guitarist of Atlanta based band, Copious Jones, and another Copious colleague, Matt Stallard holding down that low, sweet low end on Bass.

Truthfully, If I was any happier, I’d have to sit on both my hands to keep from waving at everybody!! I can’t quit flappin’ my lips over this. I’m so ready to give you an original waxed cut by Faye Petree. Out of my comfort zone and into the land of vulnerability. A gift that I see giving, going & growing for the people now and when I’m long gone into the indigo horizon. Lifted up to sing with the stars in a joyous and perpetual song of gratitude.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention that there is going to be a guest videographer in the house to catch some of the action aLIVE & in session! When we release nobody knows, you just have to stay tuned :)
