The ride to camp had been a long one and by the time they arrived, he and everyone accompanying him had been tired and worn out. But Warren had insisted that he meet Lady Faye immediately. He could already tell that things were a little tense when he arrived. They were being stalled by Lord Walder Frey, a man pledged to the service of Robb Stark from what Warren had gathered. It was inappropriate behavior in his mind.
Instead he was asked to wait in a tent while his companions were taken to get cleaned up and fed. Lady Faye would be along shortly so Warren only had a small window of time to clean up some. He unclasped his fur cloak, laying it on a chair before unlacing his shirt and pulling it off. He walked to a bowl of water and splashed his face and tried to freshen up. Sighing deeply, he stared at his reflection in the small mirror and frowned. What if she didn’t like him? The thought was quickly broken as the tent opened up and he spotted someone moving in the reflection behind him.
Spinning around, he came face to face with Lady Salvatore. He blushed slightly and stared at her. “My Lady,” he greeted, bowing deeply to her. “My name is Warren of House Arryn, Lord of the Vale and Warden of the East.”
