“ the next time you touch - no, the next time you even glance at my guns is when you get shot. got it? ” ( tosses this in here )
⋆ — The first thing he does is glance at her guns. What? She said the words 'my guns,' it's just what the brain will naturally do! And it's not Ezreal's fault that he thinks they are really really shining specimens of hexlock pistols. He just wants a little touch. Just to—damn it, he looked at them again.
Ezreal likes Bilgewater. Its ruthlessness suits him in a way he doesn't like to let on. Doing anything to get what you want, double-crossing before you get double-crossed, knifing someone before you get knifed ... It works for him, in a backwards sort of way. Ezreal's always the first to bail, always the one to use his sticky fingers and exfiltration to get whatever he wants out of a situation and get out.
She has guns, though. He doesn't. So he'll behave, for now.
"Yeah! Totally." Gah! He glanced at them again. Okay, starting now, no more looking. She's got murder in her eyes, after all, and rounds in her—no! He looked again. "Got it." He has to drag his eyes back up to her face. "Gah, look, they're just so shiny, right?" Ezreal glances at them again, looks up in a hurry. "It's like looking at the sun, right? You've just gotta do it. Not like I, uh ... just look at the sun or anything, but you know what I mean. When something's shiny, you've just—listen, I know I just looked again, but that's because you moved them! Just put them away and we've got a deal, okay?"
