Started in 2016, updated in 2017 and now (very nearly) finished - my faux window onto the Pacific Northwest...Since @alexfantastico26 has been here, paints and brushes are to hand, and last week Aldi had the good masking tape I'd been lacking to put the shadows onto the window frame. It did my head in trying to figure out exactly where they should go, but it now looks so much more like a real window! I'd still like to improve the bergamot flowers - I wonder where the reference photo is after 3 or 4 years of inaction/incubation.🤔 Bryan was home (aren't we all?) when I was doing the shading, and apparently he's only just realised that Alex and I painted the scene - he thought it was a poster (or something).
