The Masked Angels (Custos Somniorum) are a kind of creature found in the Veil and the Nexus, that exist as a sort of biomechanical cherub, almost like Kid Icarus but with gore turned on. These creatures are most prevalent at each of the Dreamscape Nexus points across the Veil, seeming to act as a sort of guardian for them. The creatures have no skin, mechanical wings, long, distended limbs, masks similar in design to comedy masks of Ancient Greece. Interestingly, any and all visual record (except for artistic depictions) will have the silhouette of the Angels replaced with a kind of static. An artistic depiction of the Masked Angels is attached.
