Gut Feeling | Lei King & Zhiwei
for @mp-king continued from here
Zhiwei decided to get his workout in early just so he didn't have to stay after his classes to be able to meet Xiaolang afterward. For some stranger the journalist was, the man was slowly becoming something he couldn’t quite leave alone. Not after seeing the way he handles himself during these missions to seek and reveal the truth.Â
After some time stretching and some warm-ups, Zhi was so in the zone he didn’t hear someone come walking through the door. Instead of working on his Tai Chi the instructor had taken to practicing his Northern Shaolin Kung fu. The moves may not have been as smooth or as fluid as the tai chi he teaches, but it had more power behind every strike and step he makes enough to work up a heck of an exercise. Â
It wasn’t until he was able to turn he notices the man in mid pose, freezing where he was as his piercing eyes stared down the man that walked in. He does notice the spear he has in his hand, something that he was very familiar with but did not have one of his own. The last time he touched a qiang was years ago.. Slowly Zhi stands straight giving the older a small bow to greet with. “My apologies.. I thought I had locked the door. Is.. there something I can help you with?” he speaks clearly with his rather deep voice but those eyes of his seem to not leave the man. Most would find it very intimidating but it was just apart of the way the young demigod carried himself. Yet the more he studied the other, the more he felt..something strange about him.Â
