Here’s a rough synopsis of the plot: Amelia and Kit (Fateheld’s OC) are force users but are trying to hide it under an Empire that’s hunting their kind down. They initially start out as enemies, as Kit is a bounty hunter going after Mia, who’s a smuggler, but they have bigger problems when another bounty hunter (rival of Kit) as well as the First Sister, leader of the Inquisitors decides they want the heads of these two idiots. One thing leads to another and they “accidentally” kick off the Rebellion fourteen years before Luke ever comes into the picture. Fatelured’s OC is Etain, a Jedi Knight that survived the Purge, I believe blinded? In the attempt to kill her, but survived and is in hiding somewhere. For Mia specifically, she’s got amnesia ;P Can’t remember anything before the Purge (Order 66), when she was only a teenager. All she has as clues to her past is a necklace and lightsaber that both belonged to her mother, who’d once been a Jedi. But that’s all Mia knows about her, not a name, and nothing about her father. Mia, however, does not have Jedi abilities, but rather Dark Force ones (she doesn’t know this until someone more knowledgeable tells her). She’d been taught, but not in the Light Side. She doesn’t use these abilities much, since she’s afraid of them, and what might happen to her if she’s caught by the Empire. Either they’ll kill her, or turn her into an Inquisitor, which she does not want. She was left an orphan on Coruscant after the Purge, and it took about a year or two before she escaped and began her career as a criminal. She also collected information and secrets about the Empire as she came across them, and sold them to whoever was interested; Amelia hates the Empire and doesn’t care who has this info, so long as it will do the Empire harm.Her journey with Kit eventually reveals the truth about herself. Her mother was a Jedi, but her father was a Sith (*cough*CountDooku*cough*), who had turned her mother over to the Dark Side during the Clone Wars. Because of them, Amelia is talented in the Dark Side but she is not tempted by power or ambition; she wants to use her abilities for good, and hopes to find a balance between the Dark Side and her better nature.
