A durable bug with a thick outer shell. They prefer to avoid conflict, instead pretending to be one of the many fossils that line these caverns. I myself have fallen prey to this technique. Truly a worthy foe.

Now that I can traverse the hot coals of this area, I find myself in contention with these lanky creatures. In their day, they must have been rather flighty herd animals, but now they simply hop across coals. They are very sturdy creatures, but the ones I have seen look quite young. Have the elders all been wiped out by this silken curse?

A kind of warding bell that eases the heat of this place. Similarly, the lavalug's heat is reduced. It still damages oneself, but will no longer deplete a third of one's strength.

A worker of the Deep Docks, ordered to sift for more precious material. The cymbals they weld seem barely suited to the task. Unfortunately, they make rather good weapons.

A slug-like creature that crawls along any surface. It can spew a lava-like substance from itself. It's heat is certainly comparable, and they quickly fill in territories left when one dies. I cannot fathom why they have not been exterminated from this place.

A courier of flintstone. Alas, they must struggle to produce any if their first instinct is always to throw it at passersby.

A simple bug of the deep docks, welding a bidant. They cannot be bounced off of, but leave themselves foolishly vulnerable when winding up. Good if one finds themself low on silk.

Leaving the makeshift arena, however, saw it emerge once more. I was prepared for another fight, but it seemed uninterested. My skill with the needle proved myself dominant, it seems.
