My apologies for taking so long to get this posted. I was exploring Germany and Austria (which is also why I have been MIA in everything) and once I got back home I obtained the worst case of writers block. But finally I come to you with a chapter!

“A storm drummed against the strong walls of Greenwood and the rain pattered harshly upon the vast windows—creating a sharper sound than that that hit the stone. The liquid then streamed upon the glass in long stretches before it would combine with another, as if it were the tears of the gods begging to be bound back into its natural order. The wind participated in this heart-wrenching song, for it whistled through the dark stretch of trees that coated the surrounding mountains and valleys. A clap of thunder followed suit, shaking the edges of the earth ever so slightly as its presence raged on. Yet, it was not anxiety inducing of any sort as many would think it so; instead, it was more soothing—especially for those who held crestfallen hearts deep within their souls.”
