We see this, also, in the LNP Coalition, where they follow the inspiration of Donald Trump in the US. Trump’s campaign manager was brought out for the last federal election to assist former leader Peter Dutton. The Libs in Australia have been drifting to the far right for years, influenced by the leering Tony Abbott and his ilk. Divisive policies attacking refugees, immigrants, Indigenous Aussies and branding Albo weak are frontline features of the LNP politics of recent years.
