Some things that happen in the next chapter of the Farnorth Arc:
- Knife learns the REAL reason why Carving-Knife insisted he come along. He is, unsurprisingly, not happy about this in the slightest.
- Suitcase meets some Farnorthern suitcases. They’re…rather terrifying.
- We meet Artengo’s girlfriend.
- There are rats.
More fun facts that are definitely not spoilers:
- Wilson, despite being an idiot, is the only non-contestant Farnortherner who understands what recovery centers can and cannot do, due to working in government espionage and watching the BFDI broadcasts.
- Carving Knife does not know the limits of recovery centers.
- Recovery centers and recovery in general are frowned upon in Farnorth. According to Farnorthern culture, the dead are meant to stay dead. This doesn’t stop CK from wondering if there might have been a fluke.
- A recovery center can recover anyone who died within the past 100 years so long as a DNA sample from the body’s limbs is provided. They cannot just resurrect anyone who’s dead. Recovery centers are not capable of changing someone from a bestial object to a Davidoid object during recovery. Keep this in mind.
- Remote wasn’t built but she wasn’t delivered by a stork, either. Her origins are a bit more unusual and are tied to the speakerboxes.
