But the one she cherishes most is a simple Polaroid of her with the two people who always support her and make her smile.

When Joseph introduced Faith to his two brothers. John was the most touched by this news. He didn't want children, yet seeing families having fun with their kids sometimes brought a smile to his face.

It was with Faith that he discovered a new side of himself. A very gentle, slightly paternal side.

One day, Joseph Seed went alone into the woods. All was quiet until he was attacked by a knife-wielding man who accused him of being responsible for the death of his son, who had died mysteriously in the sect.

Joseph defended himself by saying it was an accident. But the assailant tried to kill him. Ash, who was nearby, heard Joseph's scream and ran towards him. When she saw Joseph being attacked, she was so angry that she rushed at the assailant and killed him in a very violent way.

When she realized what she'd done, she collapses and starts crying.

- I'm a deputy, Joseph. I'm supposed to bring peace to the county and I lost control....

- Shhh, Ash. You saved my life. You weren't there by accident. God sent you to me. You're an angel.

Joseph kissed her on the forehead. He was grateful to have her in his life. He knew he loved her.
