Waltzing in the Fog
Writer note: This post is an isolated post, not affiliated to any storyline. She opened her eyes and she found herself to be surrounded by a thick mist, it all looked so ethereal. She looked up and saw a grey sky, was it the sky? She couldn't help but to wonder. Hesitantly, she gave a small step, the fog beneath her dissipated. This made her more confident and she took a few more steps juts to realize that wherever her feet moved the thick fog would clear up, but it would return to its place once she had passed. With ever graceful steps, she moved around this place. "Where am I?" She thought in her head, she waved her arm in a gentle way in an unsuccessful attempt to dissipate the fog that blurred her vision and she discovered that it happened the same that would happen with her feet, she kept moving around and slowly, her feet and arms found a harmonious synchrony, the mist danced with her, but it would not dissipate. Then she stopped. She looked at the ground, her body was petrified in a graceful, swanlike position. She could feel the mist caressing her feet, her shoulders, her pink cheeks... She closed her eyes, letting the mist move around her. She suddenly opened her eyes and for a moment, these flashed red and she was taken by angst and anger, she didn't want the fog to be there anymore, she wanted it to dissipate, to allow her to see what was around her. She recommenced her dance, slowly at first, just waving her arms like graceful waves. Then her legs and feet joined in a slow waltz with the fog. Her hair floated around with every move she made. As her angst grew, her movements became faster, more exaggerated. She moved around, but no matter what she did, the fog would not disappear. Without even noticing it, she was immersed in a dramatic, intense, yet graceful choreography that seemed to be an Everlasting nightmare. An everlasting fog. As she danced, she sighed desperately. Her body began to ache. "What do you want from me?" she said as what had begun as a beautiful dance, became a painful torment. She abandoned herself to the movements that were no longer controlled by herself and suddenly, the overwhelming mist took over her senses. It shattered her soul and made her fall down to her knees, her body gave up before she landed on the floor, facing the grey, eerie sky. She opened her mouth and she could barely pronounce: "Let my soul and my body be rid of the crushing torment". Then she closed her eyes, her lips were parted as she felt a small piece of her soul left her body and raised towards the infinity, eager to find the peace it would have never found, having stayed inside her.
