GOT7′s fansite master defamed after hitting Hong Kong fan
JYP Entertainment’s boy group GOT7 was in Hong Kong for a concert, but a particular fansite master has been put in a bad light after videos of physical assault became viral on online communities.
As the name suggests, the fansite “igotu_mark” is in charge of taking photos of GOT7 member Mark. The owner has since deleted its SNS accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Weibo.
The lady taking photos was captured on camera pulling the hair of another lady in front of her, hitting and verbally assaulting her. This happened in the standing pit during the concert, held on July 30, 2016.
While another woman beside the attacker tried to persuade her to stop, she was still filled with anger. The victim seemingly remained calm and continued watching the concert, although one account reported that she did try to retaliate.
According to a report claimed to be made by the victim's younger cousin who was also at the scene, "Now one side of my cousin's head is swollen (now waiting for X-ray results)! She has already been looked at and took X-rays at the hospital, and called the police. The Hong Kong police stated that they will follow up with Korea's police! The full incident: igotumark fansite wanted to take pictures and she was holding her large camera and pressing down on my cousin's shoulder and using her as a tripod (the doctor has diagnosed that both her shoulders have been strained by the pressure). She was pushed lower and lower, so she realized that she could not see the stage and turned around to move the fansite's hands away. During the process the fansite's glasses fell so the fansite started to hit her and kept hitting her head and pulling her hair hard. Although my cousin fought back, but the fansite has a strong built, so she could not save herself at all! My cousin was insistent on continuing to watch the concert so she did not want to make it big, but the fansite did not stop hitting her nor pulling her hair. She fiercely said some Korean in her ears but we could not understand them. The fansite chose to hit her only when GOT7 was on the main stage or when the VCR was being played as they were changing clothes!!! How scheming.....”
She lated added, "We found out that the fansite took the same plane to and fro with GOT7. The Hong Kong police stated that they will match up the two flight's passenger lists and the immigration security cameras to follow up with the Korea police and find the suspect.”
