Is Jack Kelly Blue or Red?

Answer that.

★ Paper Scouts is a charity-like organization, operating under wealthy tycoon Joseph Pulitzer. In partnership with Manhattan’s Orphanages, its goal is to grant the poor children a means to provide for themselves, as well as learn many basic survival skills. Troop 1899 is one of these implemented groups, funded primarily by leading lady Mrs. Medda Larkin, and guided by the infamous scout counselor, Jack Kelly.

As mentioned, Jack is the main Counselor, as he was involved in the troop from a very young age and knew Medda before she got involved, being the one to convince her to help in funding, and of the first in the program, persuading many of the other boys to join in too.

All our main manhattan boys come from the same underfunded Orphanage, The Refuge, the main caretakers having been Mr. Kloppman (before his passing) and Denton (before his resignation from the project)

After their departures, Mr. Snyder took over control, treating the boys unfairly, and making the involvement with the Paper Scouts much more appealing.

The kids spend their time selling all sorts of usual Boy Scout things, crafting, learning techniques, occasionally skirting around a rule or two with Jacks help, and keeping as far away from The Refuge until bedtime, up until the day Mr. Pulitzer starts slashing off funding left and right, possibly even leading to the end of Paper Scouts for good

But troop 1899 is definitely not gonna have that!

So what do we think, everybody? >:] Of course there’s much stuff to workshop and mention, but I’m pretty thrilled with how this is developing. I was thinkin the AU should be called Scoutsies! Make sure to stay tuned for the tons of content to come >;)
