I love that France has a masculinity that is contrary to general norms- or should I say accepted? The guy can fight with a sword in a pile of metal, and he can also slay any dress or makeup with unprecedented sass, and that's not all. I can't see his personality changing, top or bottom. I can see him going through all sorts of queer fashion, contrary to the general yaoi norm - the guy can get the cunniest look and still top someone. This is where I find his path crossing with Scotland fascinating (an example for general masculine norms) but let's leave that for another post.
