Fangblade is a new Predacon character to appear in the Monstrous Heart storyline of Transformers Mercy. He is the unnamed Predacon who appeared in the Beast Hunters comics about the Dinobots on Cybertron. The Predacon was dark blue with copper wings but I put more detail and colours into the design to make him more TFP. And of course, he got an original bot mode!
Fangblade was an available Predacon name I took from the TF wiki unattached to any design. My Fangblade is Predaking's new delinquent brother with a taste for blood, since he used to hunt and eat Autobots. In the comics, he ate a poor little guy named Zoom.
I made him ratty to make him seem sleazy and also different in appearance to Skylynx (they are the same size too). I like rats though, really! If handled right, Fangblade can become less feral. He only just learned to transform and he was released by Predaking from where he was being held. In the end of the Beast Hunters comics, this Predacon was trapped alive by the Dinobots and the Autobots. My story includes the events of the Dinobot comics because they really are good comics! That also means the light blue and silver Predacon, Backbite, is around...
we have just spent the past several hours trying to find any clue to where any of the other fangblades could be, but we have had no such luck...
