Derek didn’t dock in Beacon Hills on purpose but his ship, the Triskelion, had run aground on the reef and was in need of repairs. Luckily he knew a guy, who knew a guy, who could fix her up in no time. It had been three weeks and finally the Triskelion was ready to go. Derek’s crew was becoming restless on land, as was the captain himself, but they were also in need of a new cabin boy as their last had jumped ship at their last docking.
His first mate Scott told him they’d finally found one and that they’d be leaving in the morning. Thank god since Derek wasn’t really in the mood to ask one of his better hands to do the bitch work.
The morning finally came and Derek rolled out of bed, consequently over the two girl’s he’d bedded the night before. Blinking slowly he dressed and managed to grab something to eat. Sure enough the crew was ready and waiting for him. They had a new piece of cargo being delivered today, something live, and Derek was intrigued.
