hbu buddy, what's ur top five??
Hmm, let me think. I tend to fandom hop a lot and there are a lot of fandoms that I’m into. But I think that the ones that I mention are among my top picks. When I was in my early teen years, I had an obsession with anime. Inuyasha, OHSHC, Erased, Soul Eater, AOT and some of Naruto are still among my favorites there. However, just in regards to television shows... Teen Wolf--I recently started re-watching the series. Still love it as much when I first watched it. Oddly, not the first thing I saw Dylan O'Brian in, but the role of Stiles is so memorable. The Originals--Way better than The Vampire Diaries if you ask me. I love Klaus and his siblings in this. I never actually finished watching the series, but I'm trying to find a place to watch them all. The Umbrella Academy--Loved season one and two. Only took me several months after the first season came out for me to watch it because Netflix kept recommending it. I didn't even know Robert Sheehan was in it. I love him; we share a birthday and I loved him in the role of Klaus--in comparison to his character Nathan from the show Misfits, there are some similarities. Stranger Things-- I'm eagerly awaiting the upcoming season 4. I follow several accounts on here that are fixated on ST, or, to be more accurate, one of the boys, mainly Steve or Billy. I really like this show, the characters, the plotline is okay, but if any of the predictions or theories I've read about are true, the storyline is somewhat obvious. Shameless- I was super slow at jumping aboard the wagon for this show. I saw some of the UK version before the US version, which is far better imo. And then, in S5 I believe there was scene that came on that I remembered a friend showing to me many years ago. I also have a thing for dysfunctional families. I am still sad this show ended, but it had 11 seasons, so I think it had pretty much run its course. And an honorable mention, I'd also have to say The 100, mostly for some of the characters and some of the plotlines. However, how they ended the show was rather bad imo. I would have just had a bitter sad ending rather than a happy ending. On a side note (side ramble), I've hopped back into the 6teen and Total Drama Island fandom. I've been on a real nostalgia trip lately and these two take the cake by far. I re-watched all the seasons of TDI on Netflix, and although some opinions on characters have changed, my favorite characters are still the same. 6teen and TDI share a lot of voice actors and are made by the same company, and I like the dynamics of all the characters although 6teen seems more fleshed out. Particularly with 6teen, the little group of friends is so rich and diverse in terms of personality. Both are quite funny, and now that I am grown, I actually get the more “adult” jokes they were making. And movie-wise, I would say anything that falls under psychological thrillers are always good in my book, if the movie is done well of course. I have an interest in mental hospitals back in the 60s and 70s time, so if that is where the movie takes place, that’s down my alley. Also, just weird and unusual also interests me too. I could probably ramble all day on this if I wanted to. Sorry for such a lengthy reply. But thank you for asking me! Much appreciated!
