#fandom conundrum

To anyone outside the fandom, we will look silly no matter what we say, IMHO.

That’s just the nature of being a fangirl about anything, really.

Many people who do not share our specific passions and opinions will find a way to minimize or discredit us, rather than attempt to understand our viewpoint, especially if they are not generally open to ideas, opinions, and beliefs that oppose their own. It seems to me that many people like to feel superior, especially when they encounter ideas that they don’t understand, and/or which may threaten their own core beliefs and values.

So I’ve always had this Idea to make a MASSIVE Fandom cross over thing and these are two characters I’ve got drawn up (I call it Fandom Conundrum)

The top character’s known as Savage!Calibri or Skull Queen once in Lisa. This isn’t the REAL Calibri. Basically what happened is she was pushed off the edge and “snapped” into two personalities. At the top is her protection Alter Skull Queen. the name Skull Queen came from her Grilby (Who is actually a Tree Elemental named Spruce) who would call her Skull Princess... When she snapped she went by Queen because it made her feel stronger and protected. With this new second personality inside of her kind of protecting her from the perverts of the Lisa series (Fan games included) she developed her own following because she was also feared... (That’s all I got on her right now maybe more in the future)

I think you might have misunderstood the entire premise of my blog. I’m not ever about evangelizing to someone about Charmie in any platform, “These are the facts, believe them or else!” when I myself have doubts. Implying something with a cheeky wink does not mock anyone, imho.

I would never want to force my opinion on anyone, and I usually provide links to my sources in those posts so you can see how I arrived at my conclusions. Those posts are invitations to hop down a Charmie rabbit hole with me.

It makes me sad to think that anyone would see them as unkind when that’s completely antithetical to my premise. It’s never been my intention to do anything more with those posts other than to share my glee in seeing the signs that tell me that all my Charmie hopes might actually be a reality. And when asked, I have explained myself. Or others have, on my behalf.

But if I don’t explain something it’s most likely because I hesitate to say “hey, everyone, this is 100% unequivocal proof that these people are lovers!” and hope that you will draw your own conclusions, because theirs is not my story to tell.

There’s an element of fandoms that’s wholly intrusive to celebrities’ right to privacy, imho, and I try my best to say what I want to say without overstepping anyone else’s boundaries. They are still someone’s son, someone’s father, professionals with obligations to fulfill, human beings deserving of respect and dignity, and they’re entitled to their privacy just as any of us are, even if they are celebrities. Their sensitive information is not our property to do with as we please. If I’m being coy or evasive, that’s in an effort to be discreet and respectful of their boundaries.

My aim is only ever to share “signs” that have already been shared, by T or A, or their inner circle, often as episodes of kismet, that others might have missed, because not everyone is interested in kismet. Yet I do think that we still want something to hang our hopes onto while we wait for actual proof that our suspicions about Charmie are correct. That is what these posts are, to me. I see hope in the possibilities hidden in all of these delightful Easter eggs that T’s been dropping lately. That’s all. That’s my intention. I mean no harm to anyone by any of my posts.
