fanfic is already an abbreve ("fanatic fiction") and now it's shortened to simply "fic."
I accept your apology

i had completely forgotten about this thing and how much i hate it
Iâm very sorry to do that to you, but I saw a needle felted Pikachu and it reminded me of him, but not in a way that was close enough that I could reblog the post and add it on.
My mom briefly worked in the school system and as a result we were on the mailing list for this amazing catalog of products for school counselors, and thatâs where I first saw that little dude. Their catalog called it the Popping Martian or something so I was shocked to learn his real name was âPanic Peteâ!
(This is the type of catalog where Mr. Frond would get all his puppets)
I am drawing a blank on the name but it had all kinds of games and toys and books that a school counselor, childrenâs therapist, or school social worker would need to do their job.Â

Sledgehammer is 100% about fucking and I listen to itâŚalmost every day? Also I miss the days of jokes about how bad fruitcakes are and like, gilliganâs island. Why donât we reference gilliganâs island anymore?!
Iâm hijacking your reply to post this Edward Gorey fruitcake art I found on eBay when I was looking for that little book:
Itâs from a greeting card with a pub date of, you guessed it, 1990!Â
Also to go back to the original point, I knew so much about freakin Gilliganâs Island before I had ever seen an episode, even though it âwasnât on while i was alive.â We had the Gilliganâs Island knowledge; it was in the air.Â

I really want to like that podcast in general but I get so frustrated by the dissecting of lyrics for a literal meaning. Like, weâre all aware that ALL lyrics to songs are mostly fun-sounding poetic garbage right? I mean Peter Gabriel said âopen up your fruit cageâ on Sledgehammer and the man is a GENIUS. Sorry my rant is over now
I tend to agree! Lyrics:Â
We donât need to deconstruct them or rip them apart like weâre cross-examining a witness. Mock Trial.
Also, you taught me something today. My whole life I thought it was open up your Fruitcakes! P. Gabes was over there being an artist and I tried to make it into a â90s punchline. (There was nothing funnier to people in the â90s than the idea of fruitcake and how inedible it was. We even had a book that I cannot for the life of me locate online entitled â101 Uses for Fruitcake.â)

does the presence of Zouks make it worth it?
I would say just fast forward to his and/or Andrea Savageâs scenes. Â Thereâs a good scene where sheâs holding their toddler child and I got a good chuckle imagining the casting people seeing different curly-haired children that could play a Mantzoukas/Savage offspring.
In the context of Jasonâs âThey Came Togetherâ role itâs very strange because as ~edgy as this writer tries to be, itâs very much playing straight the romcom tropes that TCT skewered. Like there was a scene between the Jasons where I expected Zouks to go crashing through the office window. Â
Bottom line, this movie is *very* horny and the dialogue is bad. Â
