My Noon Bookmark 1/12/15
I finally made it through the 100+ posts that were still waiting for me when I went to bed at 2 AM this morning. Of course, 100+ were posted while I was doing that. So now I simply have to stop for RL for a while, which means there will be even more when I return.
And there definitely were some gem-like posts that made it worth slogging through all the bloggings.
How do people do this and conduct "normal" lives?
If only Tumblr would figure out a way for posts to be time-stamped and/or to bookmark posts...
There's gotta be an easier way...
Can't Keep Up (morning of 1/12/15)
I'm having to resort to an improvised "bookmark" to indicate where I start and end each day on Tumblr. I don't know how people with gazillions of followers (and who follow more blogs than I do) keep up. I feel as if I was on Tumblr a long time yesterday, and I still went to bed (around 2 AM) with over 100 unread posts. And, of course, this morning, I have to scan through all of them to try to find where I left off because, even if I leave my computer up and running, Tumblr times itself out and insists on starting fresh.
I know a lot of the posts are repeats, but I don't want to miss the gems buried in the repeats, and I don't want to miss the reaction fics (and other fics) that may be posted.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Oh, and I also don't know how to set this up so people can reply. Should I be using "chat" instead of "text" or something?
I played skyrim for about an hour yesterday and suddenly I'm writing a fanfiction and scribbling a billion sketches of my OC's. Well that escalated quickly.
