Ruby was panicking.

He already knew that Coco wasn’t allowed on campus because he didn’t need the assistance, but grinning and bearing through university without his beloved cat  was something that he would not have been able to bear. But knowing that the sweet kitty somehow escaped his room and was roaming free on the campus made the situation that much more drastic.

And he wanted to cry. 

The raven-haired boy frantically ran throughout campus, barely stopping to fix his signature white hat that continued to slip through the combination of wind velocity and slick sweat. It hurt to breathe, knowing that he was truly out of shape when running used to be second nature to him. But he had to worry. if someone that discovered her shouldn’t, then he would have been in big trouble. And even worst: Coco would have been sent home.
