1. Okay, so, not exactly. Ā At least not in the moment. Ā Anne Maria never really put two and two together when it came to Joās remarks and her own reactions beyond her own rage towards said comments. Ā For example, thatĀ āspray on styleā comment only coaxed Anne Maria to scale the mountain in hopes that she would get to punch Jo for it ā she didnāt care about the challenge or anything (honestly, bless Brick because he did not deserve to receive her rage). Ā AMās pretty hot headed, in case that wasnāt obvious, and she never thought of their interactions as strategic in anyway. Ā Eventually, she catches on, though that doesnāt tone down her reactions any.
2. Anne Maria has a Type. Ā Tall, tanned, toned, and kind of terrible tbh. Ā She had two real boyfriends prior to TD. Ā The first, Joey DeLuca, back in Catholic school in Jersey who had been her first kiss. Ā Their families had been friends so they kind of grew up together; it felt inevitable. Ā He was on their schoolās basketball team and all the girls liked him. Ā It ended before Anne Maria had been forced to move to Toronto though. Ā Her second boyfriend, Franco Romano, was a few months before going off to Wawanakwa. Ā It was short-lived; they hooked up at a school dance and had this brief, volatile fling. Ā He was the tough guy who was sunkissed and skipped class; the jealous type (but hell if she isnāt too). He didnāt want her going away for the summer, she dropped him because a chance at million dollars was more important.
