     “i mean.. i’m far happier than you’ve brought pizza over today than any other day.. the last time was just weird, fal.” it was far from weird, he was just fucking with her. that night had been the first night in a long time that he actually smiled in his own house and it was beyond sweet that she was checking up on him in the first place. taking a bite from the pizza slice, he extended his arm across the couch, shifting over to make some room for her to sit next to him. “i didn’t get to see you today.. which fuck, it pissed me off a little... just a little.” he was quick to correct himself, not wanting to seem too eager with her. “did you see nancy’s back too? that’s cool.”

     “look, i appreciate it.. i really do.” olivia started, eyeing the girl as she pulled books out of her locker. “but cheerleading isn’t my thing. you need a partner for a waltz or a samba? i’m your girl, but cheerleading? not happening.” she was used to getting flung around on a dance floor, not soaring in the air or being a base and support for some other girl. “fallon, right? i just don’t have time for it either.. plus you’ve got joey and toni so that’s enough southsiders for now --- i’m sure that’s what your captain thinks at least.” she couldn’t help the little sly comment, letting it linger in the air before smiling. “thanks.. but like i said.. i’m all good.”
