🌿 Roots & Ruin: The Fallen Heiress (Sims 4 Challenge)
Core idea:
A teen born rich loses it all through rebellion and addiction. Each heir tries to rebuild from the emotional wreckage left behind.

GEN 1 — The Fallen Heiress
Setup:
• Start as a Teen in a mansion or large home with rich parents.
• Parents must have high-paying jobs (Business, Law, or Doctor careers).
• Give your teen the traits Self-Absorbed, Erratic, and Gloomy.
• Aspiration: Party Animal (High School Years pack) or Serial Romantic.
Gameplay:
• Cut classes, sneak out, and attend every party or festival possible.
• Use the Juice Fizzing Station or bars to simulate substance use.
• Before Young Adult, get caught — fight with parents, then move out.
• Use cheats to set household funds to §0.
• Live in San Myshuno, Strangerville, or Oasis Springs in a tiny, run-down lot.
• Work low-pay jobs only: Barista, Fast Food, Retail, or Simfluencer side gig.
• Hit “rock bottom”: lose a relationship or get fired.
Recovery arc:
• Spend one in-game week isolated (no social interactions).
• Learn a healing skill: Wellness, Painting, or Writing.
• Reach level 7 in that skill before aging up to Adult.
• End gen by getting sober (no bars on lot) and having one child.

Background: grew up poor but stable.
• Traits: Overachiever, Unflirty, Perfectionist.
• Aspiration: Academic or Successful Lineage.
• Get straight A’s and earn a scholarship.
• Move to Britechester for university, live in dorms.
• Never throw parties; focus on studies.
• Marry for stability, not love.
• Divorce or separate by Adulthood.
• Reach level 10 of chosen career (Education, Tech, or Business).
• End gen in a big house but feeling lonely.

Background: child of comfort, curious about roots.
• Traits: Family-Oriented, Creative, Jealous.
• Aspiration: Super Parent or Painter Extraordinaire.
• Move back to the original Gen 1 lot (rebuild or buy it back).
• Start a family there and decorate with heirlooms or photos of past gens.
• Create a family secret (hidden room, journal, urn, etc.).
• Reach level 10 in Parenting or a creative skill.
• End gen with a thriving home but one broken relationship still unresolved.

Background: born into peace but feels the echoes.
• Traits: Good, Loyal, Child of the Islands.
• Aspiration: Inner Peace (Spa Day) or Friend of the World.
• Live on the restored family estate.
• Host weekly family gatherings (use the Social Event system).
• Max Wellness or Charisma.
• End gen by throwing a “Family Reunion” party with every living relative.
• Move family graves or keepsakes into a memorial garden — the curse ends.

Once a week, roll a 6-sided die or random number 1–6:
1 – Lose all money (§0 cheat).
2 – Partner cheats or leaves.
3 – Get fired from job.
4 – Gain a new dependent (baby, pet, sibling).

6 – Unexpected windfall (§20k cheat or new job offer).
