#fallen fox

I've been doing a bunch of art fight prep, but as I am away from my iPad at the moment, I will give you my last line written instead of drawn. More progress on Fallen Fox!

With Thorn's death, three Commanders now had to do the work of four, and what didn't get done trickled down to their Captains, who in turn had to give more work to their Lieutenants, and so forth.

Last line was more Fallen Fox! I have been chewing on it quite a lot recently, though I've been doing more plotting than actual writing

"I appreciate the assistance, but I'd prefer that you rest. Can't have you collapsing mid-shift. And before you repeat that you can't sleep—" Fox's lips quirked into a small smirk as Thire's protest died before it'd even begun. "—I said rest. You don't have to sleep. But laying down for a bit is better than nothing."

My last line was for Fallen Fox (still without an actual title), because inspiration struck and I managed to make some progress!

The Chancellor said something else, but Fox was so focused on keeping in control of himself that the words passed right over him. He hoped it hadn't been something he needed to respond to. The Chancellor would be cross.

I have been getting a lot of emails and Facebook posts from friends asking me to "weigh in on" mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Fallon Fox. It is an interesting request, because Fallon Fox is a woman who happens to fight. To me, this is not really anything one should "weigh in on," but, hey, she also happens to be someone who was assigned "male" at birth, and that seems to be a controversial thing. And I'm a trans guy who writes about trans issues and loves MMA, so here I go!
