• when or if I started shipping it: Hm… I pretty much started shipping it the moment I began reading Green Lantern comics, but I wasn’t fully committed until I watched Green Lantern: First Flight.• my thoughts: This ship is canon. Honestly, it’s too painfully obvious that Sinestro has feelings for Hal and that Hal at least returns them somewhat. The constant “Are we still friends?” “Were we ever friends?” “You were my best friend.” thing is laced with so much undertone, and the fact that these two are never truly straight forward enemies like other heroes and their villains just goes to show that they still trust in each other. Plus, most of the time Hal agrees with Sinestro but just doesn’t want to admit it? It’s canon. Honestly, I’m not buying this “friends” BS anymore… • What makes me happy about them: Probably the fact that Sinestro hates fighting him. The fact that Hal feels the need to stand against him as though to prove a point, but he often finds himself questioning if there truly is sound logic behind it. • What makes me sad about them: “Were we ever truly friends?” “That’s the tragedy in all this, Jordan. We will always be friends.” (lol I’ll be over here crying bye)• things done in art/fic that annoys me: Honestly…? Nothing. • things I look for in art/fic: Sinestro wearing Hal’s clothing. Like, that’s my favorite thing in the whole wide world. • Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Honestly, for Sinestro, I only see him with Hal… And, well, with Abin… But, um. Abin’s dead… So…*clears throat* As for Hal, I’m Batlantern trash.(;• My happily ever after for them: Hal saying “FUCK YOU” to the guardians once and for all and Sinestro is just the happiest camper because he gets to have his man back. • what is their favorite non-sexual activity? I just thought of a reason they may not be using Hal outside of the way the GL movie did/the issue of how to do a GL's power set in a TV show setting. The characters in Arrow and Flash are what? At max in their late 20s? Hal's probably still in the Air Force. His rank has consistently been a Captain which would require at minimum five years of service and he would need to have a college education, so at best he would have started his military career at 22.
