Hello there so I need a lil bit of advice. So I have a huge passion for music and always have. There's nothing I love more than music and singing. My only issue is, I'm not a great musician. I'm mediocre, at best. What do I do if I'm not talented at the one thing I'm passionate about?
Talent isn't always some gift bestowed upon the lucky few who then must realize that potential. Especially in art, it takes work and hours of practice on the regular. If you love music, make music. Do music. You're not just gonna be good. Just do it, get better at it, and continue to do it. Also, don't worry about being "good" or "bad." Just worry about making the things that you love. Are you happy? Super. Are you doing what you love? Great. You're set right there. All this talk about quality and being good enough is only gonna hold you back.
