I found this lovely, kitsch “bronze” parrot in the grocery store yesterday. My husband thinks it’s about the ugliest thing he’s seen. I don’t care. I am crazy about it - and knew immediately that I needed to photograph it. The image was already forming in my mind as I walked to the checkout.
