@failuredestined is one of the chillest, most creative people i’ve ever met. ash always has the raddest ideas and just hearing about them gets me riled up. she’s also just??????? a really nice person who stands up for the people who need it without a second thought and she alwaaaaawys makes me laugh. she’s helped me and supported me when i needed it most. i look up to her. i hope i can have the kinda head on my shoulders that she has one day.

the sentence strikes a cord in her - and karen turns her head slightly towards the sound of his voice. it’s a close encounter, really close - and she wouldn’t mind being even closer than this. she is used to this, the craving of intimacy, the yearn of warmth that comes with each person she meets. but - she supposes this is different, this is new. he is definitely new.
and so, karen feels bad. maybe. because she doesn’t think that she reacts properly to the feelings he evokes, because she uses up whoever she can get her hands on and it always ends the same. personally, karen may think it’s a bad idea, not only on his part, but her own for crossing a line she knows she won’t be able to stop. because once she gets one taste, she finds it hard to deny it afterwards.
