Long ago, before any cat can remember, there were no clans. There were only creatures that roamed the isle and the Fae Magic that laced every nook and cranny of the forest. At this time, when the Hind-Walkers ruled over the land, it is said the Gods were angered by the destruction of the forest in the Hind-Walkers personal pursuits. Fueled by their greed for shiny stones, they carved up the earth and began destroying the sacred forest they had sworn to protect and nurture. In response to this sacrilegious disrespect, the Gods sent fearsome storms to drive the Hind-Walkers out. After many days and nights of destruction raining from above, any remaining Hind-Walkers fled the island- never to return.
However, tools and homes were not the only thing the Hind-Walkers abandoned when they fled. Kittypets were left alone, confused, and heartbroken in the wreckage. Now strays, the Gods looked to them with pity, and decided that with the loss of their worshipers it was time to craft new ones. Followers that would heed the Gods’ needs more closely.
One mollie by the name of Whimsy was curious about the forest she was warned to be wary of. Whispers of dangerous beasts and tricky critters laid beyond the edges of her fenced off home, and she was determined to know if what laid beyond her borders was truly malevolent. She believed the Gods to be good, and that surely this must have all happened for a reason, right? Maybe… just maybe this was a way for her to find her answers.
In more recent times, all three clans are currently in a rather tense truce. For as long as any cat can remember, HarpyClan and GoblinClan have been at odds. The On-Again-Off-Again warring between the two due to territory and trade disputes are currently on the Off-Again side of things, but NymphClan has been placing bets as to how long *that* will last. HarpyClan, at the moment, has been dealing with issues governing oneself leaving little time to grapple with any other enemies.
With the end of the warm seasons coming to a close, GoblinClan has put on a front that they are happy and content with their lot in life, even if border crossing accusations have soured the mood they are still a force to reckon with and the other clans would do best to consider their actions carefully. But not all is well within their borders, as the increased potential Fae activity is putting everyone on edge, and worse yet several of their youngest apprentices have gone missing after they all dared each other to enter the Old Mine. Only one cat refused to enter the mine, too frightened to set paw inside, and they were the only one search parties managed to find, cowering in the bushes near to the mine entrance.
Unrest and ruffled feathers have become the status quo for HarpyClan. Eaglestar is as reclusive as ever, and restless as ever as he, and his clan, grow ever discontent with the amount of land GoblinClan owns in comparison to HarpyClan- especially when claims of smelling Goblin scent on HarpyClan terrain has been rampant as of late. With the approach of New Leaf, HarpyClan stands to pursue prey now more than ever before it all but disappears at Leaf Bare. They are never ones to be ill-prepared. Power shifts and grows in the tall trees as a promising new prophet apprentice has been named. There is hope for Harpy pride yet to grow as the changing of the seasons approaches. They’ve never been cats to turn their nose when work gets hard, and they aren’t about to start now.
With the changing of the season’s, NymphClan could not be in a more prosperous position! This is a time of great celebration with Autumn approaching, and their new leader Puckstar is here to help guide and cultivate the party fever! Since the tragic passing of the beloved Hydrangeastar 3 moons ago (who had reigned for 40 moons), our dear Puck has been quickly thrust into a position of leadership at the request of Hydrangeastar on her death bed. With a beloved leader’s blessing, NymphClan is assured that their long, peaceful era will continue forth for seasons to come! Nevermind the whisperings of nepotism (as it is widely known that Hydrangeastar was Puckstar’s grandmother)- surely this was meant to be.
