Bare bones rn but surprise, surprise it was an OG story idea I had way the fuck back when. Girl gets spirited away by a jealous fae after chatting it up with fae man in a bar. She doesn't realize what's happened until it's too late, and she stumbles upon the fae man once more who tries to get her back before time runs out, but as mentioned, it's too late. Now she has to find a way back home with the help of a Changeling woman, and two other fae they meet along the way. But the fae man has fallen in love with the girl and is torn between helping her and making her stay.
Very Labyrinth (1986) kind of vibes, but darker and adheres to the old folktales and mythologies, I think.
