so, i got a few of these, and I figured I’d just answer you all at once, for the sake of not repeating myself.
Obviously there’s stuff I’m excited for that many others are as well, like the TW ladies being total badasses and the return of lacrosse.
Other than that, I was half joking in my (slightly bitchy) response earlier about actually being excited for the story, but I also half wasn’t. I started watching TW under the impression that it’d be super campy and we’d get some laughs out of it. And while there have been (many) overdramatic moments, that isn’t actually what the show turned out to be. It is a legitimate supernatural horror show, and that is what I fell in love with. So yeah, I’m excited for the story.
The new monsters look fucking awesome. Like whoa, those mouthless dudes. And while I was never a huge fan of her, I am looking forward to Kate fucking shit up. Malia is a toss up as far as this fandom is concerned, and while I’m still wary of her, I’m looking forward to seeing where they go with her. I’m looking forward to the scary scenes and the bloodshed and hoping Peter has some scenes showing him as the psychopath he is because this dramatic concern for some people is kind of skeeving me out. And I want to know what the hell Parrish is.
On the other hand, though, I’m not excited about Braeden’s return. While I think I could potentially enjoy the character, I have not been impressed with her acting. At all. And I’m not jumping on the “yay slimmer Derek with chest hair!” bandwagon. I don’t like body hair. I honestly think his beard/scruff could do with some trimming.
