Seen near Lal Qila, Delhi.
While exploring Lal Qila in Delhi with my friends, we came across a pineapple vendor. The sight of fresh pineapples was tempting, so we approached him and ordered three plates. In keeping with the common trend in India, I used UPI to make the payment, but here's where the mishap occurred. Instead of paying โน60, I accidentally sent โน600.
The expressions on both the vendor's and my face changed from joy to concern. He had a merchant account and couldn't refund the excess amount. So, I proposed to him to return me the amount in cash. However, this presented another challenge - he needed โน540 in change, and he could only gather 500 from nearby vendors. To resolve this, we decided to purchase two more plates of pineapples from him, which brought his earnings to โน100.
With this transaction, I asked him for a portrait, although his smile was somewhat forced. Deep down, he realized he had made a sale of โน100, but he also had to figure out how to return โน500 to the other vendors he borrowed from.
