About the possible romance...im gonna be so for real anon. In the early stages, i had thoughts of a possible sequel where they would kiss after everything is done (probably the morning after the actual sequel)! But the more i worked on it, the more i hesitated as i started to really cherish this sort-of-familial bond they had, this "you are my friend and i won’t give up on saving you" relationship 🥹
What really made me decide to keep it that way tho was people commenting about how they should kiss bdhdhchd i felt like a lot of people were reading in hope they would get together romantically and did not appreciate this relationship i was trying to portray, so i decided to keep it that way bcs we need more stories about friendship/found family THAT ISNT ABOUT KISSING! (im sorry guys but i am a hater ncbdhdh)
But i mean! Kissing or not, their relationship wouldnt be so different- theyre already eachother's life partner at this point and i think that’s all i wanted to portray! You're welcome to imagine how their rs develop from there 😊
