I was gonna do this way later but I can't stop thinking about it so I'm doing it now
How Fable came to be (not rottmnt):
Fable used to be a star, glittering in the sky every night. She watched as humans lived their lives, learning and playing together.. her galaxy had nothing like that and the other stars were much too far away. She was jealous, she wanted what the humans had, wanted a connection to another creature. So, she wished. She wished and wished for years at a time that to her only felt like a few hours. Her wishing, her hope to feel as the humans do compelled her celestial body to move.
She flew towards the blue planet Earth until its gravity pulled her in.Fable landed in a rose garden by a large, intricate building with tall glass windows and dome roof, surrounded by forest. Through the windows she could see shelves and shelves full of books, this was a library! She had been wanting to see one up close for ages. The star in the garden began to glow a bright white, showing the form of some kind of creature, until in it's place was something that was almost human looking. The only things out of place where the wings on her head and an identical pair floating a few inches behind her.
Taking a few uneasy steps with her new legs, she made it to the large wooden door, pushing the door open. Here, she will spend a long time reading the dusty books in this vacant place. Losing herself in story after story, forgetting why she came down to Earth in the first place until someone else stumbles across this magical library.
How Fable came to be (rottmnt):
Basically what's written above, except instead of landing in a library's rose garden, she lands in the dirt somewhere in New York. There, she's found by a museum curator and put on display, she stays there for decades, perhaps a millennia in a state of comatose. That was until Hypno-Potamus came by and stole her, thinking she was some kind of magical item. Shortly after that, Hypno had a run in with the turtles in Witch Town and he dropped the star in a witches rose garden. The mystic roses wake up Fable, transforms as described above and she meets the witch who the garden belonged to. She was older but very kind and allowed Fable to stay as long she helped with the chores and doing the odd favor now and then. Eventually, she finds the library where she ends up getting a job and sees four turtles cause quite the ruckus at her workplace.
