Faas 350 and 900 Trainers Pitch
Hi there,
PUMA has bumped into a difficult question: how do you improve the already fast Faas family of lightweight running shoes? The answer: bring in the likes of the Faas 350 and Faas 900. These two latest additions to the Faas footwear collection represent the best of the two ends of the FaasFoam scale while staying true to the Faas philosophy and design ethos.
The Faas 350 is the ideal lightweight stability trainer. Specially engineered with a low profile, this shoe is equipped with the perfect amount of support for the mild over-pronator. Avoiding the plastic inserts and dual densities used by other similar trainers, the 350 employs a one piece midsole that provides the engineered stability essential for someone trying to excel in faster runs and races. The one piece midsole also makes sure that this Faas, like others, stays true to its nature and provides a responsive and natural ride for the runner. All the while, a lateral release groove is at work slowing the rate of pronation.
Skipping all the way to the other end of the FaasFoam spectrum, the Faas 900 provides more plush cushioning than any other Faas before it. This durable trainer provides the extra protection necessary for the neutral runner on regular runs, who needs a little something extra (2mm of more cushioning to be exact). Like the 350, the 900 sticks to the tried and true one piece midsole that allows for a lighter and more natural ride. An EVA/blown rubber compound helps the shoe provide a more responsive ride while flex grooves extend all the way across the tooling to prevent excess motion.
But of course, these shoes wouldn’t be true to their Faas name if they were just all brains. In typical Faas fashion, both shoes don’t feel the need to sacrifice style for functionality.
Please see attached for images and tech sheets on each style for reference, and please get in touch if you’d be interested in testing a pair. These shoes will hit stores on ______. Thanks so much for your consideration!
Best,
Woo
