Hi, could you do a Fernando Alonso one where reader is Carlos' sister (and with a 2 year age difference) and has a three year old daughter from a previous relationship, in which she is famous in her own right, like a model, and in which during one of the races that she and her daughter go to to support Carlos, she meets Fernando again, due to their busy schedule and in which the reader has secretly had a crush on him since forever, but is afraid to give herself another chance to fall in love and become just another on his list, but without realizing that he cares about her and her daughter, and Carlos Sr. realizing this and seeing that Fernando is a good man for her daughter and how he treats his granddaughter like she was his, don't caring not caring so much about the age difference between the two, invites Alonso to the Sainz family vacation in their villa and during this, Reader realizes how much Fernando cares about her and her daughter seeing him and the girl interacting as if they were father and daughter and decides to give herself another chance and starts dating and slowly revealing to everyone that they are together, from watching the races on his side of garage with her daughter wearing his merch (much to Carlos' despair) to being spotted doing family activities during non-racing periods and that in the end, after some time together, they both decide to take the big step of living together like a family

βBianca, please stop running,β you laugh, watching your daughter chase the soap bubbles someone is blowing in the paddock.
βI wish I had her energy,β Alex Albon laughs, your brotherβs teammate, who is sitting with you for a coffee while you wait for Carlos.
βMe too, mainly so I could keep up with her,β you laugh, shaking your head.
βI cannot believe it, my favourite Sainz back in the paddock,β someone says behind you, and you turn around.
βFer!β you exclaim, standing up to greet him. βHi!β you smile as he hugs you, one hand on your back.
βHi, guapa, how are you?β he asks, pulling back with a smile.
βRushing around, as alwaysβ¦β you reply, amused.
βHi, who are you?β Bianca cuts in, coming up next to you and looking at Fernando, who watches her with amusement.
βI am a friend of your mum and your uncle, and you? I donβt think weβve ever introduced ourselves, princesaβ¦β he answers, kneeling down to be at her height.
βI am Bianca, Uncle Carlosβ favourite,β she says, holding out her hand to introduce herself, and Fernando bursts out laughing.
βWhat a shame, I thought I was his favourite and insteadβ¦β
βNo, no, itβs me, he tells me all the time,β the little girl insists confidently.
βAccording to her she is the favourite of the whole world,β you comment, shaking your head with a smile.
βIt is hard for her not to be, with that attitude,β Fernando says, looking at you.
βDo you drive like Uncle Carlos?β Bianca asks when she notices the race suit Fernando is wearing.
βYes, I drive too, a green, very fast carβ¦β he answers, ββ¦more or lessβ¦β he adds under his breath, making you laugh.
βHey you, away from my favourite person in the world,β Carlosβ voice comes from behind Fernando as he walks up and scoops Bianca into his arms, making her laugh. βSorry, I am very jealous of my favourite princess,β he jokes to Fernando as he tickles the little girl.
βI believe you, not everyone has a princess like that,β the older man replies, getting back to his feet.
βAre you having dinner with us tonight? The whole family is there,β Carlos asks Fernando. βAnd you know if you say no to my mother thenβ¦β the Williams driver goes on, gesturing and rolling his eyes.
βI still remember when you bailed on her two years ago, I donβt think she has forgiven you yet,β you say, amused.
βI didnβt bail, they did not let my plane take off, that is different,β Fernando defends himself while everyone laughs. βSo I am coming tonight, thank you,β he continues. βBut only if I can sit next to you,β he jokes to Bianca.
βWeβll see, next to me there is definitely my mum, otherwise she says I make a mess,β the little girl replies with disarming sincerity.
βAnd that is more than true,β you comment.
βOk, then I will sit next to your mum,β Fernando adds, giving you a wink. βI have a briefing, see you tonight, Sainz clanβ¦β he smiles, saying goodbye and walking away.
Carlos also has things to do before the race and he leaves with Alex. You take Biancaβs hand and ask her if she wants to walk around and look for something to eat.
You hadnβt seen Fernando in months, maybe almost a year, the last time had been at some event in Monte Carlo. You had gone to visit Carlos and you had run into him at a dinner.
You smile, thinking that man is really like wine, he gets better every year he gets older.
You were a teenager when your father brought him home for the first time and⦠boom, the biggest teenage crush of your life started.
If you can even call it βteenageβ, considering you are pretty sure it is still going on now that you are 32.
β
In the evening you are all sitting around the restaurant table, your parents, Carlos, Rebecca, you, Bianca and also Fernando, who kept his promise and joined you for dinner.
You finished eating a while ago, Bianca is quietly colouring and the conversation flows.
βI watched your latest series,β Fernando says at one point. βIt was amazingβ¦β he smiles.
βDid you like it?β you ask with a smile. βIt is a totally different role from what I usually do, butβ¦ it was a challenge to play that character,β you answer.
You are an actress, and a fairly famous one, your name has been at the top of quite a few big Netflix productions lately, and your latest work, a thriller definitely more brutal than what you usually do, is number 1 among the most watched series.
βI liked it, and I am a fan of the genre, I couldnβt miss it,β he smiles, looking at you.
βMum said I cannot watch it,β Bianca exclaims, suddenly appearing from under the table between you and Fernando, catching you both by surprise.
βBianca, what did we say about crawling under the table?β you ask, looking at her.
βThatβ¦ you donβt do it, but I am bored and I wanted to talk to you,β she answers, straightening up. βDo you know how to draw?β she asks Fernando, changing the subject.
Four years old and she already has more nerve than half the planet.
βKind of, not really,β he replies.
βMum is terrible,β Bianca says, amused, as she climbs onto Fernandoβs lap without even asking. βWill you draw your car for me?β she asks. βUncle Carlos put wings on his,β she whispers into his ear, but not exactly quietly.
βLetβs try, princesa,β he says, starting to draw the car on a sheet of paper, following your daughterβs crazy instructions.
Fernando is focused, he smiles now and then, chatting with Bianca. You watch them and⦠yes, you definitely still have a crush on him.
βFer, what are you doing next week?β your fatherβs clear voice comes from the head of the table. Fernando looks up from the drawing to look at him. βWill you come to the beach with us for a few days?β
You look at your father, surprised, wondering where exactly that invitation is coming from. Sure, they have known each other for twenty-five years, but the last holiday Fernando spent at your familyβs beach house was ten years ago, and you remember perfectly what it was like seeing him in swim trunks every morning.
βWhy not,β he replies. βCan I come to the beach with you, princesa?β he asks Bianca, who pretends to think about it and then nods, laughing. βShe said yes, so Iβm coming,β Fernando says to your father.
Perfect, part two of the Alonso in swim trunks show is officially in the works, you think, unable to hide a pleased smile.
β
The orange sun is about to dive into the sea. You are sitting on the warm sand, watching Bianca chasing the waves and looking for shells.
βBeer?β you hear Fernandoβs voice behind you as he comes over and sits down next to you, handing you a bottle. You thank him and take a sip.
You have been here for two days, and your eyes drift to him, tanned, messy-haired, that kind of βsexyβ that makes you feel like doing something crazy.
But you have sworn off crazy, sworn off a lot of things since Bianca was born, like anything that isnβt her or work.
βShe is unbelievable, that little thing,β he comments, nodding in Biancaβs direction. βShe told me a story about a magic hermit crab she found this morning, she talks so much nonsense,β he adds, amused.
You burst out laughing. βYou have no idea what she is capable of making up,β you say, shaking your head.
βAnd how are you?β he asks out of nowhere. βI havenβt managed to have a real conversation with you in agesβ¦β
βGood,β you answer, partly out of habit and partly because maybe it is true. βBusy.β
βDo you still hear from Francesco?β he asks then.
You let out a breath. βOf course not, since I got pregnant I havenβt heard from himβ¦β you say.
βChrist, he never called you?β he asks, stunned.
βNever, he has never even legally recognised Bianca, he is not her father except biologically. She is a Sainz, Sainz and nothing else,β you say, keeping your eyes on the sea.
βWhat a son of a bitch,β Fernando comments.
βBetter this way. I didnβt see the point in taking him to court and forcing him to recognise someone he didnβt want, or rather forcing Bianca to have a father who didnβt want her. What for? I donβt need his money,β you say, shrugging.
βYes, but this way you carry all the weight of the world on your own,β he says. You turn your face to look at him and give him a sad smile.
βYou get used to it, you know, Ferβ¦ even to being alone,β you say.
βYes, I know, but it sucks, and I say that from experience,β he replies, taking a sip of beer. βIt sucks for a lot of reasons.β
βYeahβ¦β you say. ββ¦sometimes I just wish I had someone to ask for advice, and yes, I have my family, Dad, Mum, Carlosβ¦ but I mean someone different,β you go on. βDo you get what I mean?β you ask, and he smiles, looking at you.
βI doβ¦ someone you chose,β he answers, and you smile too.
βExactlyβ¦β you sigh, as Bianca runs towards you with a shell. βLook, mamΓ¬, there is a little animal inside,β she says, showing you the shell. You examine it carefully and see a tiny claw poking out of the opening.
βLook, Ferβ¦β she says, holding it up to his eyes, and he smiles as he looks at it.
βLook how little it isβ¦β he says.
βHis name is Mr Crab,β she says with a grin. βWill you help me find more?β she asks, looking up at Fernando, who sets his beer down on the sand.
βOf course, princesaβ¦β he answers, getting up. Bianca takes his hand and the two of them walk away towards the shoreline, talking about shells, hermit crabs, or who knows what.
You pause for a moment to take in the scene, thinking about how that should be normal for a child her age, having a father, and yet for her it is not. She has her uncle, her grandfather, a friend of her mother, but a father, no, never.
And just as that figure is missing for her, someone is missing for you too, someone to hold you in the evening, to laugh with you over those tiny, stupid things no one else gets.
The truth is, you wrapped yourself in a bubble of motherhood and work, never really giving yourself the chance to look for something more, convincing yourself you didnβt need it, that it wasnβt the right time.
But you are tired, tired of being alone, of never having a caress, a smile from someone for whom you come before everything else.
βMum, look, look at the crab, Mum!β Biancaβs voice pulls you back to reality. You smile and get up, walking over to them.
βOh my God, Bibi, that thing is huge!β you say, seeing the gigantic crab they found hidden among the rocks.
βShall we take him?β she asks, looking at both of you.
βI am not even thinking about it,β you reply.
βI donβt think it is a great idea to try to grab that thing,β Fernando adds, amused.
βCan we go swimming?β she asks then, changing the subject.
βIt is almost dinner timeβ¦β you say.
βCome on, come on, just a little bit,β she begs, bouncing on her feet.
Fernando laughs and stands up. A second later you feel one of his hands on your back and the other under your knees, he lifts you off the ground and scoops you up. βIβve got the princesa, come on mami, just a little swim,β he laughs, looking at you.
βFerβ¦ I am going to kill you,β you say, laughing, your hands on his shoulders as he wades into the water with Bianca splashing everywhere before throwing herself in.
When the water reaches his waist, he lets you go and you resurface, splashing him. βYou are such a pain in the ass, Alonso,β you say, laughing, and he tries to defend himself, wrapping his arms around you from behind and holding your arms still.
βLook whoβs talkingβ¦β he says, amused. ββ¦if you werenβt so beautiful I would drown you on the spot,β he whispers against your ear.
And for a second you are not sure what to say. You feel his warm, wet skin against your back, his hands on your waist. You turn your head and look at him, he smiles. βCome on, you know you are gorgeousβ¦β he says with that look you have never seen on anyone elseβs face, only his.
βWill you throw me in the water?β Biancaβs voice cuts through the moment. Fernandoβs hands slip away and he turns to grab her and send her flying into a huge splash.
You are not entirely sure what just happened, but his voice still buzzes in your ears and his hands still burn on your skin.
What the hell was that?
β
It is late in the evening. Bianca is asleep, and your parents too, Carlos and Rebecca have gone for a walk in town. Fernando disappeared to make a phone call in his room and you are enjoying the sea breeze on the terrace, a bit of silence and time for yourself.
You have been there for about ten minutes when you hear footsteps behind you and, when you turn, there is Fer, in shorts and a white shirt, with that smile that used to make your knees weak when you were a girl and maybe still does.
βIt is so quiet,β he says, leaning on the railing.
You smile. βThe sea is the most relaxing sound in the world,β you say quietly, and you notice he has turned his head and is looking at you.
βWhat is it?β you ask with a smile.
βI was thinking that I have known you forever, and every time I see you I discover something new about youβ¦β he says.
βAnd what did you discover this time?β you ask, keeping your eyes on his.
βThat you are a wonderful mother,β he answers simply. βThat you can still laugh at the beautiful things that happen, at the tiny ones no one else even notices. I discovered you have a birthmark on your neck behind your ear, I discovered you feel lonely too, like I doβ¦β
You look at him, surprised. You werenβt expecting those words, not like that, not with that sincerity.
βI discovered something about myself this time as well, about me when you are around,β he goes on. βThat I cannot stop thinking about how much I want to kiss you,β he adds, as if he wasnβt saying anything important, as if those words werenβt enough to literally make your knees buckle.
You look at him and, for some reason, you donβt manage to say anything. Nothing reasonable comes to mind, you can only think βPlease do it,β but then why donβt you just say it.
Maybe, luckily, Fernando doesnβt need an answer. He raises his hand and cups your face, leaning in just enough to brush his lips against yours.
And then you are the one who moves, you lean into him without even thinking, and let that kiss become something entirely different from a timid caress.
He shifts so that he is standing right in front of you, one hand on your waist, the other still on your face, while yours slide to his neck and into his hair.
You donβt even know how long has passed when he pulls back, gently brushing your lips with his thumb. βYou are beautiful,β he says in a low voice, and you smile, eyes down. βYou are, and I have thought that for a long time,β he adds, pulling you against him.
βDo you think your parents would watch Bianca for a night so you can go to dinner with me?β he asks with a grin.
βYou want to ask my father to babysit his granddaughter so you can go out with his daughter?β you ask, amused, looking up at him.
βWell, it seems more reasonable to ask him that, rather than tell him I cannot think about anything except making love to his daughterβ¦β he replies, amused, kissing you again. βI donβt think that would go down very well.β
βNo, I donβt think so eitherβ¦β you whisper, amused.
βBetter to lieβ¦ letβs stick to dinner for now,β he jokes, and you both laugh. He holds you and you rest your head on his shoulder.
βFerβ¦β you start, and he answers with a βmhβ against your hair. βYou know my life is a mess, right?β you ask.
βI know, you should see mineβ¦β he answers honestly. ββ¦I am good at handling messes, donβt worry,β he adds, and all you can do is smile.
Honestly, this feels like the best kind of mess in the world.
β
One year later
βAnd I decided that since Uncle Carlos has a unicorn on his helmet, you should have a fire-breathing dragon,β Bianca says, sitting in Fernandoβs lap in the Aston Martin garage.
βA fire-breathing dragonβ¦β he repeats, amused.
βYesβ¦ so we can burn Uncleβs unicorn too,β she goes on, nodding firmly.
βDid you hear that?β Fer says to one of the team members walking by. βPlease find a dragon to put on my helmet,β he laughs.
βFire-breathing,β she corrects.
βA fire-breathing dragon,β he repeats.
βI donβt think I want to know what you two are plotting,β you say as you walk in, taking off your sunglasses.
βWinning strategy,β Fernando says with a smile, and you burst out laughing.
βWow, you two are a great teamβ¦β you say, leaning in to kiss him. βEverything okay? Has she been a nightmare?β you ask quietly, staying very close to him.
βHey, this princesa is never a nightmareβ¦β he jokes, stealing another kiss.
βStop it, you two,β Bianca exclaims. βHave you seen how much they kiss?β she says, looking at Lance Stroll, who bursts out laughing.
βThey are terrible, Bibi, terrible,β Lance agrees, encouraging her.
βStop encouraging her,β you warn him, lifting Bianca off Fernandoβs lap. βCome on, let them get ready for qualifying,β you tell your daughter, who nods, then leans back in to hug Fer.
βDonβt forget the dragon,β she says with a grin. He kisses her cheek and then stands up.
βI promise,β he says, amused.
You and Bianca walk away, planning to grab something to eat and then watch qualifying, which should start in about an hour and a half.
You are sitting in the hospitality area in front of a screen when Bianca suddenly jumps to her feet. βLook, look, look!β
On the screen there is Fernando, wearing his helmet, and on it there is a large sticker, a glittery dragon breathing fire.
βHe put it on, mami, he put the dragon on,β Bianca says, pointing at the screen.
You smile, amused. There is nothing, absolutely nothing Fernando wouldnβt do for her, and for you too, if you are honest.
It has only been two weeks since you moved in together. You and Bianca officially live in Monaco with him now, new house, new school, new life.
A new love.
One so big you never thought it would happen to you. And yetβ¦
After that holiday at the beach⦠you did go out to dinner, and, something your father will never know, you also made love, for so long you thought you were going to run out of breath.
Then Fernando started to be there. Always.
Coming to Madrid when you were there.
Coming to Canada when you were filming a series.
Or you were the ones going to Monte Carlo, just to be with him.
Christmas was the turning point.
Together, first with your family, then in Oviedo with his⦠and then the mountains, a holiday with just the three of you, with him teaching Bianca how to ski and the two of you spending endless evenings in front of the fireplace.
And little by little, the loneliness disappeared.
It went away completely. You donβt even know exactly when, but it dissolved, maybe thanks to a kiss, maybe thanks to a smile, to a morning in bed with his mouth on your skin.
The photos came, the gossip came, the rumours you both ignored.
Then came the race you went to with him, where he took your hand walking into the paddock, holding Biancaβs with the other while she bombarded him with ideas on how to make his car more glittery.
And then came that evening, on the sofa, with a simple βCome live with meβ¦β
And you did not hesitate for even a second to say yes.
It has not been a fairytale, it has not been magic, it has just been life, the way it sometimes surprises you.
