I should have followed my own advice because by the time I got to this gorgeous chocolate creation from Chef Amanda at The Ganachery, I could barely take a few bites! . . I wish I had this treat to enjoy all over again. I guess I will have to stop by the epic chocolate shop in @disneysprings to indulge properly. This charity event raised over $30K for @feedhopenow Second Harvest Food Bank and deserves to be on every Foodie Someday List! Nothing beats a Flambeed Mickey Waffle drizzled with roasted jalapeño-orange blossom honey and tender crispy buttermilk fried free range chicken paired with Brut Rose Champagne! Santana hadn’t been eager to accept that nights activity. It had been two days since Rachel’s panic attack and Santana had made sure she ploughed head first into keeping Rachel’s media image stable. She’d had both of their laptops open as she switched between tabs and e-mails and on the first night she’d worked until the words on the screen had swayed and the liquor had knocked her onto the sofa. She shouldn’t have been drinking but she and Rachel had still not approached it. Sure, they’d known the reason was the miscarriage and on the first night she had held Rachel completely sober and hadn’t even parted when she’d drifted off to sleep but it had been so painful. She couldn’t find any words that weren’t an apology and the world seemed to have stopped turning when she wasn’t gazing deep into a bottle. However Kurt and Blaine had not been so happy to watch them not cope because they’d found out about Rachel not going onto the stage somehow but they hadn’t asked specific questions but had just stated that a night was to be held and they were going to bring dinner so the women didn’t have to worry. Sure, the offer may have been nice but it was not good timing. But when will the timing get better if you can’t even face it? “Rach, baby,” She called out in the apartment as she slipped on her jeans once she was sure her body was dry. Her hip flask, now empty from last night, was folded neatly in her secret hiding space (AKA the shoebox at the bottom of the wardrobe with her ‘cast out’ items.) “Babe, are you nearly ready? The rainbow brigade will be here soon,”
