Howdy folks! My first semester of freshman year in college (!!!!) is winding down. My semester ends exactly a month from today, 11/16/16, which means that dead week, and finals week are coming up in a little under a month. More happily though, I will be on a plane to beautiful, sunny CALIFORNIA <3 

In the effort to stay sane/ avoid burnout while 1) studying for finals 2) applying for internships 2.5) figuring out this adulting thing 3) counting down the days until I get to go home, I’m going to attempt posting every day with updates of study/life progress to hopefully keep me accountable/motivated to finish the semester strong. Welcome aboard, and feel free to do something similar if you’d like! :^)

Today’s a lil’ stressful because everything is seemingly due today/tomm!! Thanksgiving is next week and in all honesty, I’m contemplating whether or not to roadtrip to and stay with friends in Seattle, vs staying in rural eastern Washington, which would be a really nice week to decompress and catch up on work/ reevaluate priorities.

CS is so much fun but a ton of work as well --- I have to remind myself that the best code has the least lines, so everything I’m learning right now will be streamlined and more efficient...eventually. Probably going to resubmit some assignments for more points because our TA is allowing us to! And I want that foundation. And I want to be better --- I’m doing well and so pleasantly surprised by that, and so now I’d like to ~~da best I can be~~ which is corny AF LOL

Feeling like I’ve unlocked a new level of Spanish now that I’ve learned all the tenses askdfjsaldfjasflk I’m so stoked for next semester’s advanced convo/writing class n_n
