Thirteen years after the signing of the Treaty of Treason, during a new Golden Age for the Hunger Games, an eighteen year old boy from District Three rises to victory. He will go on to gather the firewood for the Victor-led Rebellion, and his name will be lost to history.

His name is Godot Futhark, and this is the Thirteenth Annual Hunger Games.

for the one anon on here who wanted me to write a victors project style thing for all my victors- i still desperately want to do that- but godot is very incredibly special to me and special to mine and mara's fanmade hunger games history and so i've decided to casually chip away at his games too!

Phila & Pem Futhark - half of the brains behind Futhark and Acer Co, the Futharks emerged from the Dark Days with less family than they’d hoped, a five year old and a newborn, and an invigorating plan for innovation of screens, cameras and microphones to pander to the Capitol. Finding ever growing success, they’re on a roll until their lives are upset with the reaping of their eldest child into the Hunger Games. Working in the Capitol every year to supervise their product, they realise they’ll have to watch him die up close and personal.

Lavinia ‘Vinny’ Futhark - born just two months before the signing of the Treaty, Vinny was a joy in a dark time. Born with an intellectual disability that was labelled as brain damage due to the lack of doctors at the time of her birth, Vinny has been widely mocked for her violent outbursts, lack of self control, inability to speak well, and subpar intelligence in the classroom. However, her family love her and know her for her sunny days, her love of ladybugs and the color purple, the way she likes to play with crayons and her silly dances. She’s practically connected to her brother at the hip, and people wonder how she even functions without him at her side.

Godot Futhark - a bit of a class clown, Godot is largely well known in his social circles, and if you don’t flat out love him, you’re not fond of him. Godot is deeply intelligent, having grown up wanting to be an engineer and an inventor. People say he’s destined to step into his father’s shoes as the spunky entrepreneur, and he takes that well in his stride. Wanting nothing in the world than to be successful enough to give his parents the retirement they deserve and take care of his sister as she grows up, (and continue to cherish his secret lover), all this is put on hold when his name is called at his last year in the reaping. He must switch gears and use all the knowledge he’s gained from growing up in a family involved in the Hunger Games from Day 1 if he has any hopes of making it home at all.
