Red - Sector 1, Blue - Sector 2, Yellow - Sector 3

The two drivers are actually pretty similar over the lap, with the only real noticeable difference happening in the turn 4/5/6 complex, where Max carries more speed into Turn 5

Max brakes earlier for Turn 4, but he gets a better exit and is able to carry more speed for Turn 5, however this means that he has to brake earlier for Turn 6 and on the exit he loses his pace advantage.

The other main difference between the two drivers, over the course of the lap is their braking points, if we take a look at the final sector (where Mercedes is faster) you can see the difference in speed carried.

Sector 1

This looks pretty similar for both drivers, Norris slows the car down more at T4 (at 2069m), the McLaren is generally faster out of the corners and will brake slightly later.

Sector 2

Its sector 2 where Carlos loses out on time to Lando, mostly this is on the straight, but in general Lando is braking later and harder than Carlos, which causes his speed traces to have more of the desired V shapes.
