"What the hell do mean Gwen is Amber's baby?" Wilson's voice shook slightly.

"It's-" House looked away from him, "Before you and Amber got together I... I had sex with her."

"What?!" Wilson put his head in his hands, "You had sex with my dead girlfriend-" "I had sex with her before you and her started going out!" House semi-yelled back.

"And that's supposed to make it better? Wilson scoffed, "Jesus Christ House- You for sure didn't knock her up-" "Oh jesus, is this another transphobic thing? I didn't know Amber was trans! Amber didn't know I was trans!" Wilson stood up and paced infront of him, "You're telling me.. that your daughter is my dead girlfriend's daughter. You didn't think to tell me that before? Were you gonna keep it a secret forever?!" "No, i just didn't know how to tell you!"

Wilson turned to glare at him, "So who the hell got pregnant?" "I did."

"What the FUCK House?! How did you hide a pregnancy?!" "I did an artificial womb thing.. I don't need everyone knowing I'm trans Wilson!" House yelled at him, pointing a finger at Wilson's chest.

"Jesus Christ..." Wilson put his hand on his forehead.

The drive back to their apartment was silent. Completely silent. Gwen sat in the back, curled up in a ball, sniffling. Wilson held House's hand on the center console. House's hand was clenching and un-clenching periodically. Wilson looked back at Gwen in the rear view mirror, opened his mouth to talk. Then closed it, and put his eyes back on the road.

House's good leg was bouncing, shit, shit shit. She had it. He would have to tell Wilson. House was gonna have to tell Gwen. Wilson would hate him. They both would hate him.

Wilson was locked in on driving.

They pulled into the handicapped parking spot and got out of the car. Gwen shuffled to the door of the apartment complex and stared down at her shoes as she walked. The three of them walked to the elevator and to their apartment in silence.

The second they got inside, Wilson hugged Gwen tight and went to go get her a bowl of ice cream. House guided Gwen to the couch and got her a fluffy blanket to burrow herself in, while he rubbed her back.

"Kiddo." House broke the silence and Gwen just started sobbing.

God, she hated him sometimes. Rude, snarky but still her father? Didn’t he understand? She didn’t want to be made, the least he could do was pretend to like her, instead of kicking back his feet and pretending she didn’t exist. Thank god for Wilson, her saving grace. Her real father figure. Stressed, but still kind and making sure she was fed and not left to fend for herself every night. Speaking of which, F.B. was sitting in her room wait for House and Wilson to stop making out, at least as loudly as they were.

In the living room, House’s lips parted for Wilson’s as they pressed themselves closer, almost as if they wanted to melt into the other. House’s hand slips under Wilson’s dresshirt earning him a little gasp from the other man. “House we really ought to-“ Wilson was muted mid sentence as House pressed his lips firmer to Wilson’s, “House-“ House’s hand rolls up and down Wilson’s back eliciting a soft moan, god, getting a massage turned Wilson on now?

From F.B.’s room the door opened and F.B. walked out. Wilson pulled away with a crimson flush spreading up his cheeks.

“Oh, uhh, F.B.! We uh-“ Wilson stammered and tried to piece together a coherent sentence.

“oh, it’s okay dad? I just wanted to know if uh, either of you would come to my highschool concert? I um, play the clarinet and um-

Wilson cut her off with a grin, “Of course we will! What day and what time?”

“Oh, it’s on Tuesday at um.. seven-“

“Sorry kiddo, Prescription Passion’s new episode come out then.” House cut her off with a wave of his hand, “beside, there’ll be other concerts.”

F.B. bit back a scream, he always said he would make it another time, first excuse was patients and then this? Maybe he just really didn’t care.
