AAAAAHAHAHA I squeaked out my first win in the Ruby Cup LET'S FREAKING GO!
Sure, Ruby is the "easy" competition, but a win is a win, and I'm proud of it!
Also got jumpscared by my IRL date and time during the cutscene (not THAT surprising since the date/time are in the Switch 2 settings, but I didn't think the Silly Racing Game would include that detail, lmao).
Can I also add how incredibly busty James is? If you thought my fanart was an exaggeration, no, it's canon! You can kinda see it on the character select screen, but it's delightfully high quality in the interview cutscene.
On a serious note, it's a neat idea that the game only lets you pick a single interview question (or... a comment. Only one of the options was a real question, but I'm not going to argue with the host on that) at a time. It incentivizes trying to win again to get the rest of your chosen character's lore. You gotta WORK for it in this game!
Aaaand as far as my stats for each race:
Twist Road: 3rd Place
Split Oval: 5th Place
Surface Slide: 5th Place
Loop Cross: 29th Place (this track is still the bane of my existence)
Multiplex: 1st Place (an absolutely sweaty victory via mashing the Boost Power button along the recharge strip at the very end to get ahead in the last second)
Now, the next question... what shall I spend these fresh 15 tickets on? >:)
